There was much hope and high ambitions at the end of COP26 last November with a promising path to achieve the goals set out in the Paris Agreement. Energy Transition dominated the conversations in Glasgow with hardly any discussion on Energy Security. However, the world of energy was upended with Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Access to secure and reliable energy at affordable prices has been the focus globally.

The goal of this session is to explore these issues and discuss how countries, companies and customers are balancing their energy security and energy transition goals. And what lies ahead in the next 18 months and to 2030.

We are joined by Gretchen Watkins, President, Shell USA, Inc., Ed Morse, Global Head of Commodity Research at Citi and Chair of NY Energy Forum's Advisory Board, and Valerie Marcel, Associate Fellow, Environment and Society Program and Chair of the New Producers Group at Chatham House.  Atul Arya, Chief Energy Strategist at S&P Global Commodity Insights will moderate the discussion.

Please note this event will be a virtual session via Zoom Webinar from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM EST. Additional details will be provided to registered attendees prior to the session.
